Question 1

How quickly can you get to Estero for an AC repair?

Accepted Answer

Most Estero calls are handled the same day, and we dispatch 24/7 for genuine emergencies such as no cooling during a heat advisory or water actively leaking from an air handler. Call (239) 203-2708 and the dispatcher will give you a realistic arrival window rather than a number we cannot keep.

Question 2

Do you charge more for emergency AC repair at night or on weekends in Estero?

Accepted Answer

After-hours, weekend and holiday windows are priced differently from a standard weekday appointment, and we tell you the rate before a technician is sent so you can decide whether to wait for the next standard slot. Because we quote flat-rate rather than hourly, the number you approve is the number you pay.

Question 3

Is your Estero AC service licensed and insured?

Accepted Answer

Yes. City to City HVAC is a Florida licensed and insured contractor, license #CAC1824318, with background-checked technicians. The license can be verified on the Florida DBPR public portal before you book anyone.

Question 4

Does replacing an AC system in Estero require a permit?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A full system replacement in Estero falls under Lee County permitting, and a licensed contractor pulls the permit before work begins. Repairs to existing equipment generally do not require a permit; replacements do, and the permit record is also how you confirm the work was done legitimately.

Question 5

My Estero AC runs constantly but never reaches the set point — what is wrong?

Accepted Answer

Almost always one of three things: low refrigerant from a slow leak, a dirty evaporator or condenser coil restricting heat transfer, or an airflow restriction from a clogged filter or failing blower. None of these fix themselves and all get worse with runtime, so book it promptly rather than waiting for it to fail completely.
